In some cases, your panel physician may be required to order additional tests that are not always predictable. Some of the following services may be required in addition to the rates listed above.
In some cases, IRCC may return the patient's file and request additional tests, for example for people with cancer, living with HIV or syphilis, or with potential signs of tuberculosis. This additional visit incurs a cost of $70.
Sometimes, IRCC may order a chest x-ray check a few months later or a re-shoot if the original x-ray was abnormal. This additional screening incurs a cost of $50.
For some patients identified as high risk due to different factors, IRCC may request additional tests, such as Quantiferon for tuberculosis, hepatitis B or hepatitis C, at a cost of $80 per test.
For patients 75 years of age and older, those with neurological or musculoskeletal conditions, or those with certain risk factors, IRCC may require an Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) assessment as well as a mini-cognitive exam.
